Hello Everyone,
It’s Dave from the SF Bay Area-I picked up my white Maverick yesterday(it actually arrived early)! Only options are the FX4 and tow package. Haven’t driven it much yet but I do have one concern. There’s a somewhat intrusive buzzing when taking off from a stop. It’s not noticeable once cruising. Is this the under hood fuel pump?
Otherwise , it feels great to drive. I own two other Ford trucks, a 76’ F150 and a 2005 Superduty that hauls my Four Wheel Camper. I got the Maverick to be my daily driver and to help facilitate my family’s move to the foothills this summer. I have a small trailer that I will be hauling furniture, home improvement materials and other items up to our recently purchased cabin. With the price of fuel in California, it was costing too much to drive my other trucks! I’m hoping the Maverick gets the claimed mpg…
Cheers!
