I know. But now it has me worried these people will be marking up mine to the moon. They've promised up and down they won't but refuse to sign my purchase order.

I hate this while goddamned process, I tell you what.
After 17 months waiting, my 2023 Laredo 360 Hybrid came in. Not only did AutoNation not charge an ADM, they honored the quoted price even though it was $900 less than the window sticker price. If you want the Ford ESP warranty get a quote from Flood or Grainger and take it with you. Show the dealership what another Ford Dealership is offering. In my case, the Finance Manager could not match it so I went ahead the next day and bought a 10 yr/100,000 mile Ford warranty for $1,740 from Grainger Ford online.

Such tactics have to be an embarrassment for FORD...makes one question the ethics of the dealership(s).
I agree, dealers who add substantial money to stickers can only make you wonder how all the other departments operate. I guess I'm lucky as both my FL and NY dealers have been great. In fact we just bought my wife a new Escape. They gave me very good numbers on her 2016 Passat and a very good discount on the Escape. No back and forth and gave separate numbers for trade and discount (as opposed to combined trade/discount).

I'm hoping my dealership doesn't try any crazy markup, but I'm ready to go public the day it happens and show how this dealership operates. And if they are upstanding, I'll will go public and let everyone know how fantastic they are!

I havent heard a single peep from my dealer since I ordered 6 months ago, not sure if that’s a good or bad thing lol
The only peep I have heard is "no news" when I ask them questions.

Been waiting since last year. I feel like the smartest idiot right now. I feel like I had a golden opportunity but at the same time I just can't justify 40 freakin grand on a goddamn xlt.

Couple that with the fact that price jump would obliterate my profit margin on the vehicle im selling.



I almost wish I wasn't even called. This one hurts.

So it took us 489 days to get out cactus gray hybrid xl and had gotten many calls from other dealers saying that they have it but it’s 10-15k over list

it is worth the wait currently averaging 43.1 mpg over the 2800miles we have driven. We used our ford points from the purchase to buythe maverick all weather floor mats, if they don’t tell you
The first “free” oil change comes from your Ford points… so not really free.
My wife also called ford marketing religiously (189 times) and they were at times very helpful especially when tracking the truck on the train across the country
I attached the number, but you have to have a vin assigned

Called Ford Customer Service to tell them about this. Super calm, just telling them what they did. Hung up on me mid sentence.

Fuck this brand.
Message the CEO on Twitter. The customer service is not going to be able to do anything about it. Make it public. Real public not just here.

Has the CEO shown empathy in the past for other issues users have had here? Just asking as I just honestly doubt any ceo would respond or give a rats ass.

My order went in Sept.15 got an email 3 hours later from Ford confirming my order. I got two 45 day can't build emails. On April 13 got email saying it will be built the week of 6/19.
Alto Blue Eco-Boost, Lariet Lux ,4k tow, FX4 ,360 copilot full size spare tire.

I’ve gotten three of those emails and no build email. I think you’re being helped first due to yours being an eco.

If you want an XL, why would you even consider that truck for 40K. You waited this long, hang in there! Get what you want, not what they try to sell you .

Yep. Seems like a click baity title for people expecting news from Ford corporate.
Or perhaps the OP is NOT aware that thread titles can be changed after the fact? Given the demographics of this group, I'd opt for giving him the benefit of the doubt. @IGNIGNKXT, you CAN change the thread title to reflect that the call came from the dealership, not Ford Motor Company.
