I picked this up earlier today. I used my Ford Pass points from purchasing the Mav and got it for under $200. Anyway, it took a little longer than it should have since there were no directions. I did see a video which greatly helped, but directions in the box would have saved some time. Anyway, it really fits snug and is really thick. I did not make the cutouts for the access panels…yet. I was in a hurry and wanted to get it done for a use. It’s not really hard to take the side panels off so I’ll cut those out later time…when the day is hot so the panels will flex. And yes, I need to get some rings for the two front floor points.

I was forced to get one when they changed the spray in for the drop in for the lux package but I honestly don't mind the drop in.. I dig the Ford Maverick logo on it a LOT, really cool. Although I will say, it made installing the bed extender a little difficult b/c you kind of have to blind drill in the holes

I did not put any holes in mine.

I never knew you could switch the bediner to a drop in. I ordered a lariat lux and would have switched it.

You couldn't manually switch it. They changed it to drop in because the spray-in was a constraint holding up production.

Cool, I did not know they did that. Thanks.

Out of curiousity, why would you prefer a drop in over the spray in? Most folks around here seem to prefer the spray in

I actually don't prefer it. I have drop ins before and stuff always got umderneath it. I would rather have the spray in. But the spray in is part of the package I ordered. My preference would be to drop the liner altogether so I may get the truck. And get a spray in aftermarket.
