Flew to Philly from Tampa Saturday. Day started at 5am.
Matt at Chapman Horsham arranged Lyft ride. Great driver.
Chapman team was the best. No surprises and I feel like they took great care of me.
I arrived about 11:30
On road by 1pm
1150 miles uneventful till 40 miles south of Tampa when a semi started to change lanes from right lane to middle almost side swiping me. Thank God the truck had directional lights on CAB mud flaps. Also glad Maverick has big boy horn. I laid on the horn and stabbed the breaks going close to 80.
That horn stopped him from lane change, the Maverick felt like I was in the Top Gun F14 when Mav puts the breaks on to my adversary fly by. How I was not rear ended.............very lucky. But that fast deceleration saved the day.
I got a calculated 37 MPG on the trip
