It Happened

1 Year and 19 days and the maverick was home. The cyber orange XLT with EB, tow, xlt lux , 17" painted wheels, spray in bed liner ( No Joke) floor mats and no 360.
This is our first new vehicle because I build or rebuild my own since the 1970's The Ford app will take some getting used to, I have always used keys to start my cars.
All I can say is it is worth it. This is a good outlet to complain but it doesn't change anything so hang in there and use the information people post to help you decide what you want to add when yours comes in.
Also there was a post recently about a Maverick being sold out from under someone at the same dealership I ordered from. ( this added stress to my wait ) as it turns out there was more to the story than posted and the admin here looked into it.
I can report that my sales guy ( Manny ) and the dealership came through with flying 5 star service on the delivery so Autofair Ford in Manchester is OK just saying.
I will post some pics in the showcase later.

I guess it might be time to retire your Fairmont moniker and add a little Cyber Orange pizzazz.
By the way, I had an '81 Mercury Zephyr coupe once upon a time that was pretty much the same car. Those cars may have had a plain jane reputation, but mine remains to this day the most comfortable and best driving car I've ever owned. Car companies make a big deal about "road feel" and "dynamic steering" these days, but I really miss that car with its effortless power steering and gliding, cushy ride. And who doesn't love a good split bench seat?

By the way, I had an '81 Mercury Zephyr coupe once upon a time that was pretty much the same car. Those cars may have had a plain jane reputation, but mine remains to this day the most comfortable and best driving car I've ever owned. Thanks for the reply, My daily driver is a 28 year old jeep, ( My wife gets the Mav daily ) the fairmont was saved from a barn and updated with a 351 Cleveland . It is wicked.
