So, my July order is finally built and shipping (Lariat Lux Hybrid)…dealer is predicting it’ll arrive end of the month.
I’m excited, but also nervous….. As a long time lurker on this forum, a lot of negatives/problems tend to get the most visibility and attention, even if they’re statistically unlikely in reality.

Folks who’ve had your Maverick a while, still happy? Issue free? Any regrets?
Got my xlt hybrid last week . I Love driving it 👍 well worth the wait !

Congratulations! Got mine XL hybrid 3 weeks ago, 1600 miles, no issues :) Excellent gas mileage, roomy for what it is.

We're all taking the same chance on purchasing a new production model (something I used to swear I would never do). But here we are, all caving to the temptation of an actual four-door pickup with a good bit of utility that also manages 40 plus mpg (hybrid of course). The good news is the hybrid drivetrain has some years behind it in the Escape so it's not a total experiment. But we do have to accept the risks of getting involved in the birth of Ford's new baby. The way I look at it is like reading the safety profile or adverse effects of a prescription drug: It may cause headache, nausea, constipation, dry mouth etc. you get the idea. All of the things that some of us experience while waiting on delivery. But when you dig into the numbers, the percentage of these reported issues is extremely low. Like in the tenth of a percentage low. So it is with these reported various issues, as real as they are. And as much as I read about rattles, rumblings and leaks I am not deterred nor should you be. The anxiety of waiting on a new vehicle (for 9 months hence the baby reference) is all a part of the experience and it's reaching crescendo here in a few weeks. I'm just trying to enjoy the ride.

Hybrid Lariat, by far the most full efficient vehicle I have personally ever owned. My first Hybrid for sure! My use is about 60/40 city/hwy. I've averaged right at 40mpg. That is without hypermiling and really paying any mind to it. I did use the coach on breaking and how to drive a bit more efficiently, but nothing radical.

The truck is quiet, comfortable and just absolutely checks all the boxes. I really enjoy the lane centering and adaptive cruise control.

To the previous poster, you will not be able to order a 2023 model Maverick until sometimes in early August.

600 miles and 1 tank of gas later, 100% trouble free. XLT Hybrid w/LUX. Reserved June 2021. My truck was supposed to arrive April 8. I got the call to pick it up two weeks early.

Happy for you! People seem to be overwhelmingly happy with their Mavericks based on what I've read throughout the internet. The vast majority of negatives I see arise from scumbag dealerships, and oh boy has this auto shortage really showed some true colors.

God's willing, my Hybrid should be built and shipping within a couple of weeks. I think most of the problems here are minor and fixable and are not very concerning.

Don't worry. I have a Mav Hybrid First Edition with Luxe Package. It lives up to the hype plus some. This truck is unbelievably a fantastic truck. You won't be sorry.
