Is my order complete?

So I have this order it appears, the biggest issue I have is that it would seem the emails are going to the salesperson and not me. Can I fix that?

Looks like your order was submitted correctly hence the confirmation email sent. The only one who can change your email in the system is your dealer. Kinda crappy that your sales guy used his dealer email when submitting the order not yours.
Try reaching out to him and see if he is willing to update it in the system but I wouldn't hold my breath....

So have they created my vin yet? Cause I’m going to insist on that and my order number as well. I went to a good dealer but it’s smaller and full of a bunch of old white hairs that think global warming is a scam

You won't receive a VIN until you're scheduled for production. That will be a separate email. I see the email above was sent on December 8th so you have a long wait ahead of you.

When you went into the dealer you should have signed some paper work. Around here we call it a DORA. It should have your order number and sales code located somewhere on it. For reference mine looked like this. Yours should look similar.

Yep I have one of those. But the order number on the one I had basically showed it as dealer stock. I think he may have given me 2 and I tossed the wrong one . I’m going to email them back now.

as far as my wait yes I am sure I do have a wait ahead but frankly I don’t think it will be as bad as it’s been for some of you. I didn’t hit many of the big no no items for starters and I’ve been seeing people from November already getting selected. Also my dealership had no idea about the constraints, their orders were mostly at the beginning, they have received only one xl base. I’d be willing to bet I get mine before 85% of their other orders. God imagine if I’m the first order they entered correctly because they were clueless.
