The previous one was aluminum foil style, now it's silver-coated, more thicker and providing better sun protection.

I promised a review of the Mabett sun shade so here goes....
It works very well to keep the interior temperature at a manageable tolerable when I get in the truck to go home. One of first days I used it, it still quite warm and then I realized I had left the sunroof damper open.
Closing the sunroof damper with the sun shade does the trick.I confess I still haven't fully mastered the fine art of making a perfect circle to put it in the storage bag. That's something I still need to work on.

I have a little experience getting wire hoops to fold, some hot air balloon skirts have very large ones to twist up. But look at the diagram on the giant zip lock bag. Place your hands & twist following the arrows. You still have to coerce it a bit, but it will circle up!
