I'm still wondering why the C1R isn't available for 2024 Ford Maverick? I keep seeing all these advertisements and I navigate the site and just the C1 is available. Or mount it underneath which I prefer not to do.

I'm still wondering why the C1R isn't available for 2024 Ford Maverick? I keep seeing all these advertisements and I navigate the site and just the C1 is available. Or mount it underneath which I prefer not to do.
The R adds red to the light outputs,
  • Triple function: high-power white main beam, high-power red main beam, and low-power red accent light

I appreciate your input, I did see those options available. I should have been more specific. I'm looking for the single, hitch mount C1R pod light. Only the C1 is available for the hitch mount application.

I appreciate your input, I did see those options available. I should have been more specific. I'm looking for the single, hitch mount C1R pod light. Only the C1 is available for the hitch mount application.
Have a write up on doing the C1R hitch light pod for running light, reverse, and 4th brake light that’s working for me on my 25. Only hitch (pun intended) is you have to have a seven pin connector ie 4k tow.

Would be great if DD could create similar for the 4pin connector on a 25, specifically Lobo.
The 4 pin connector doesn't have pins for reverse, or stop only connections. It only the 4 "pins" for:
1. Ground
2.Tail
3.Left Turn/Stop
4.Right Turn/Stop

I spent quite a bit of time adding wiring from the front turn-only circuits and the 3rd/Center High mount brake light. If you do this, I suggest using a powered light converted as the system is very sensitive to the change in load, increase (adding) or decrease (changing from incandescent to LED)

Seem like that could come from the taillights instead of the trailer connector.
Except that neither of the taillights has a "stop only" function. That's why he used the 3rd high mount brake light as a signal source.

The Maverick’s electrical system isn’t able to support the additional power draw of the C1R. Because of that, the standard C1 is the only compatible option for this application.
Would be great if DD could create similar for the 4pin connector on a 25, specifically Lobo.
We actually have a project in development for a 4-pin harness designed for the HitchMount LED Pods. It would be plug-and-play for power and ground, with an additional lead for the reverse light function. That lead would still need to be tapped into the correct signal wire on the vehicle, since there’s no way to make a 4-pin setup fully plug-and-play.

Can you confirm if the C1 will work on 2025 specifically Lobo?
We don’t have a confirmed listing for the 2025 yet, as our engineering team hasn’t had one in for testing. That said, it should work if there haven’t been any major changes to the electrical system compared to the 2024.
