Hey everyone!! Just picked up my dream truck!! 2023 Avalanche Gray Maverick Lariat Tremor!! AT STICKER TOO!!! Here's some pics. My video won't load. Too large. Completely obsessed. I walk outside just to look at it a few times per day lol!! Purchased it from Hub City Ford of Lafayette, LA. I'm located in New Orleans, LA. Planning to do a few simple mods to it soon. Bed liner ASAP! A weather tech hitch receiver XL step(I'm constantly in and out of my truck daily for work. Not to mention, the little bit more protection it may provide for the bumper.) The tailgate assist hydraulic arm. Seat covers are a must immediately. Do we have a sponsor for that? Any recommendations for heavy duty covers? Possibly a dash mat as well until I can get the windshield tinted. Debadge the dealership emblem and possibly the Tremor stickers. Cermic coat/wrap paint and scratch protection. Swap the grille with the Raptor grille with the 3 top lights and FORD written on it(hoping to color match it with the Tremor orange that's already accented on the girll and lights.) Forscan eco mode/all the modes. Eventually a lift and bigger tires. Larger turbo(hopefully the corsair 2.3 or the 2.7/larger if it fits.) What else am I missing? Any suggestions? Also, I have a reservation with Long-Lewis of Alabama that's priority 10. I may pass it along to someone who can use it. Apparently this dealership has had a very low volume of Mav orders so allocations are open for them .They've have received all their orders quickly and on time because everyone is driving 4x4 full size and larger trucks out there. Excited to finally have my lil dream truck and be apart of a kickass truck club!!!

LOL yea I'm beyond excited. Ecstatic. Words can't describe. My search was almost unbearable at times, but it paid off. I really lucked out. I had over 10 deals with deposits fall through or fell out bc of price gouging, etc. I actually rushed into buying a ranger bc i temporarily gave up and figured I'd just place my order and wait. The ranger was a horrible buy all around. I'd of lost out about $6k right off the bat. Buyers remorse was already setting in before I even got it. As soon as I signed the papers Scott with Hub City texted me saying he had this one. I only found one other Tremor at sticker and mistakenly waited an hr or 2 too long. I don't think I'd trade in or get rid of it even if I was offered the obscenely priced $20k some dealers are asking. I just can't partake in inflating and gatekeeping a necessity like a vehicle for all of us.

Thx! Right back at ya! I wanted to order my own and may still. Love the HPR too..There's really not a color I don't like. The yellow is kinda eehh, but other pics it doesn't look bad.

THx!! How you liking the hybrid? I started looking into the Mav for the hybrid. I drive a lot for work. Get paid mileage. I figured I could grab the hybrid and it'd pay for itself. Problem is I drive hwy A LOT!! So it loses it'd mpg saving a little there. That and some of these refineries and terminals I work at are straight mudholes. I was going to just keep with the AWD. Maybe a fx4, but this fell into my lap at sticker and I couldn't pass it up. Another cactus gray lariat in Arkansas was offered to me at MSRP. I waited an hr or so too long and it was gone. Couldn't make that same mistake twice.

yea it definitely does. at first online and in pics i didn't like it. i would have rathered the cactus gray and maybe still like it a lil better, but this is a limited color and I'm just grateful to have it after everything i went through. Calling dealers nationwide. everyone asking minimum 5k over. i'm still getting 3-5 dealers calling daily updating me on everything or finally getting some in...still charging over sticker too.. it's unreal.

especially love when they call while i'm driving and they're telling me the scarcity and mark ups and i just say na i'm in one right now that was sticker lol. yea i really loved the area 51. that'd be so dope with the tremor orange. actually looking for a wrap in that color.

Very nice truck. Now all you have to do is sign up for the Ford Carlisle meet in June and get to really display that beast.

Hub City Ford!! lol, our 73 Ford LTD came from there, I grew up in Laffy. My dad's insurance company lost the account so then we got Chryslers for a while. I'm in Tangipahoa now, got my XL in Hammond.
