Its this simple:
The Santa Cruz DOES NOT feel like a truck when you drive it.
The Maverick DOES feel like a truck because despite its size, it is 100% a Ford pickup.
I have no doubt that Ford (and every other manufacturer) has plans to go to a full EV line up and not make gas or diesel engine consumer vehicles. So, regardless of how accurate any info we have now, there will be an electric version of the Maverick, eventually.
Given how longs its taking...
You’re assuming the tag light CAN be considered “ground lighting”. Typically speaking, the laws in this area is vague. So, If you have a ridiculous ground lighting kit, you’re the one who stands out. If your tag light lights up the ground some, and it’s clearly the tag light I don’t think that...
I got mine and I added rhino lining and got a gator trio onneau…all together under $1400 and worth every penny in my opinion.
This is my first truck but my father has had one for most of my life, and he’s tried all the other options. Spray in is the way to go. I got quotes from linex and rhino...
Speaking as a former police officer, I can tell you that a functional tag light is better than a non-functional one and the fact that it shines onto the ground shouldn't mean anything. If the light is on you are good, if the light is off they can stop you.....
Honestly man, that’s tough. If you want the Maverick and can swing it I would take it. It’s great to help people in need but realistically, after taxes and fees and what not, how much cash would you really be to able give your neighbor? A couple grand? Whatever the number is I’m sure they’d...
All Glory IS Fleeting, for sure. I Just feel lucky to have one and I can’t believe the way the market it. The down turn will come, and then it will turn up again. Enjoy the ride everyday cos that’s all you’ve got for sure.
I have no plan to sell but I just find that insane. I don’t know if that price included any dealer extras like extended warranty but still, that’s nuts.
I bought my 23 XLT for $35k in February. Right after I bought it, I was contacted by my preferred dealer, who know I was looking but didn’t know that I had found one.
They had a used 22 XLT on the lot, with 24k miles on it. They sold it for 36k!
Looks like if you’ve got one, their resale value...
If you are playing the long game I would order it and wait.
IF you can get a guarantee that you won't pay over MSRP, in writing! I LOVE my Maverick but I was in a position where it was buy it now or wait another year, at least. I took a hit on some options I had become accustomed to, and I...
Thanks. I see you started a thread based on my comment. I really have not seen many, its eight total including mine and the hyrbid one that was next to it on the lot. not gonna lie, it makes me feel lucky!
