I don’t know a thing about tires but what made you pick the grapplers over the other commonly mentioned tires on here?
If you are looking for the most comprehensive review of AT tires, I found the review of the Best 9 AT tires at Tyre Reviews very helpful. I thought the video was very well done.

Time to play catchup on responses.

Adam, Your Bronze wheels looks Awesome! Tires are too.
I have 265/60/18 AT tires with no rubbing on stock suspension.

Those wheels look great, especially with that blue! The wheel design looks cool too.

These ones don't look bad at all! The Ridge Grapplers look awful but these Nomad's have a nice sidewall that isn't blocky. I suspect they are on par with the tread of the Wildpeak Trails and Open Country's? A little less than the AT3/W's and KO2's?

Good looking setup overall! Glad you like it!
I generally consider those to be on par with the Nittos. This on-road all terrain design that has been growing across tire manufacturers is nice for vehicles like this. They seem fairly capable without the more aggressive tread or road noise that the off-road all terrain designs have.

Those look great!
I really like the RRW wheels and was moments away from pulling the trigger but their shipping price to Canada put that idea to bed, $442 for shipping is nuts compared to literally any other supplier (free to $150)
Wow! I knew shipping into Canada was high, but I didn't think it was that much.

There is such a thing as too much black on a vehicle, especially when the vehicle IS black. Your new bronze rims give just the right amount of “subtle” contrast, and both colors work well together. Nice job👍.
Agreed. I also liked that these aren't a brighter bronze or gold. I looked a those colors and just thought the contrast was too much with the black paint. Now I just need to determine if I pull the bronze color into small spots on the rest of the exterior of the vehicle.

Those might be my next tire. I was going to go with Trail Terrains or Destination XT 2s but they seem to have a narrower profile and end up looking skinny. Nomads look great.

I just checked out the wheels and that is an incredible sale price.
I know what you mean. I had the trail terrains from the factory on the '23 Kia Sportage I had. They performed well in all conditions, but just looked narrow. These tires were on my mind at that point as future replacements before I traded the vehicle.

The sale price really helped me with ordering these, along with finding some reviews from Toyota owners running them. I didn't know anything about this company beforehand, so I was a bit hesitant.

It totally changes the look and stance. I like it. The black on black just doesn't go well. Great choice. You got me thinking about these wheels and tires for my Alto blue AWD Lariat.
It is nice that a relatively simple change can improve the overall look of a vehicle in many ways. If the color on the factory black wheels were broken up some like they are on other designs, they might have work out better. I'd definitely recommend this combo as something to consider.

Are they lighter or heavier than the stock wheels? If they were lighter than stock XLT wheels I would consider them since I took a hit to mpg with 245/65 Wildpeak AT Trails. Been trying to find the stock XLT wheel weight online but haven't been able to.
I don't know at the moment, but this is something I was curious about as well. Once I borrow someone's scale I will get the weight of the factory setup to compare to. I know my tire weight went up by 8 lbs. each (26 lbs. to 34 lbs.), and the new wheels weigh 24 lbs. each.

I personally love the black ones and the bronze ones! I have the XL hybrid with steelies and I don't mind the look but would love to upgrade. What are you planning on doing with your black wheels? I bet they would look nice against my cactus gray 😉
I'm going to be selling the complete factory setup at some point. I had considered keeping them around just in case, but they would just end up collecting dust and taking up space. Black wheels with cactus gray would definitely look good!

The commonly mentioned tires were close options. The Falkens wildpeak A/T trail tires were the closest of choices I had narrowed down to, and probably about the same in terms of performance. The Nittos were just a little lighter per tire, had a bit more tread depth, and US made (even though Nitto is a Japanese company). Otherwise, the warranty was roughly the same, both have great reviews, and mostly similar in many ways. I've ran both brands in the past for all-terrains on other trucks and have always had a good experience with them.

I e-mailed RRW asking the weight. Will post the answer when they respond.

Just got these wheels in black love the look. They are 1.6 lbs heavier than stock XLT wheels.

The bfg and wild peak trail terrain tires are way less aggressive and are great tires.

It usually isn't that bad, I think someone is just padding their profit margin....
Tirerack and other vendors are quoting $130-170 to ship similar size/weight wheels.

I wasn’t a fan of the wheels that came with the BAP by design and lack of contrast with the rest of the vehicle. After looking at many different options, I settled on Relations Race Wheels 17” RR5-S in matte bronze. I chose 245/65r17 Nitto Nomad Grapplers as that size seemed to have a nice fit with stock and lifted suspension after looking through photos on here. The tires have been great so far, but another test will come with more significant snowfall and ice.

Looks great! I got a set of RR5-S in black in my garage ready to go on my HPR.
What lug nuts did you go with?

Thanks! That combo should look great. I went with Gorilla splined lugs nuts.
