I have tentatively mounted an Indeed Camping side mount toolbox in my new 2026 Lariat bed. I say tentatively because I still have not received my hard tonneau cover which will be mounted over it. I don't think there will be any interference between the two but, you know, never say never. I ordered the toolbox from this site. It's plenty cheap. With my first order discount, I paid a total of $68.99.

My first impression of it in real life is that it's very small. That said, any side mount box you're going to mount in a Maverick bed under a tonneau cover is going to have to be pretty small, so I won't complain. The outside dimensions of the box are given in pics on the site. I've added a couple of pics below showing the opening sizes to give a better idea what it will hold. If you want a big toolbox, this ain't it. But I have to say, it's a perfect fit in the Maverick bed.

It's not vehicle specific, and can be mounted on either side of the bed. The lock is better than I expected, but of course, the toolbox is just plastic, so wouldn't be too hard to get into. Mine will be under my tonneau cover, so I wasn't too worried about security when I bought it. It's a pretty easy installation. The tie down brackets in the corner have to be removed. I put them and their bolts in a bag that I'll keep in the bottom of the toolbox. Like most of this type of toolbox, it just lifts off the hinge for quick removal, and you could re-attach the tie down brackets if you need them. Here are pics:
