Mine has been in production since 11/13 I’m going to check this truck out really well before I pay for itI don’t get it ???? Not saying anything other than in production chat…marketing and dealer .![]()
Leif Johnson Ford. They have been really cool so far. Tuesday will tell the tail.I'm in Austin- which dealership?
How do you get to the location like that, and the modules?Mine has moved around the parking lot today and added 1 mile to the odometer...and is now sitting close to the train tracks!

I had added the vehicle to my Fordpass, account once I got my VIN back in November. Sometime after I saw the modules populate on 12/1, I saw the vehicle appear on Fordpass in the right colors. Sometime after that, Fordpass showed me a button to "Activate". I selected it, and then it said it was waiting for the in-vehicle activation response. That was probably about 12/10. I think someone completed the response inside the truck, as on 12/19, I got this email. And from that point on, I've been able to follow it (just like my 2023...location, odometer, distance to empty and tire pressures). I'm not foolish enough to honk its horn, lock unlock the doors, or remote start it.How do you get to the location like that, and the modules?
Cool. I’m with Mac Haik in Georgetown and they have been good so far. Covert screwed me twice and I won’t be going back to them for any future sale or service.Leif Johnson Ford. They have been really cool so far. Tuesday will tell the tail.

I had a bad experience at Covert also. I called to check out a Ranger. When I showed up, I couldn't get anyone to make eye contact too help me. I ended up buying a Tacoma from Carmax and they were great. I've also worked with Maxwell Ford on the Motor mile and don't have any negative feedback. Bought a few vehicles from them. 2 Expeditions, 2006 Mustang GT , and my Wifes used 2018 Edge Ti from them. Great warranty work on my 2013 Mustang Gt I bought from Leif Johnson.Cool. The tracking for the Railroad is on the "Trackers" tab at the top. When my 2023 came in, the railroad tracking wasn't all that helpful. But when it does ship, your dealer can get updates all along the way now with "VinView". I bugged my salesman about once a week for screenshots of the Vinview reports. Once the train gets to Nogales, it transfers to a US railway (see the tracker page). My 2023 was shipped 2/9 and arrived in Denver around 2/28...and trucked up to my dealer on 3/8.My hybrid XLT with sunroof is built as of this afternoon also (12/23/23). (Sure hope the employees hadn't started celebrating already!) Longer wait than I wanted but a lot shorter than I expected! Ordered 7/18, scheduled on 10/12 for week of 12/18, production as of 12/22, so 5 months.
Currently the modules all show, but it says my window sticker is still unavailable.
Also, how do I get to the location tracking map, and the shipping information?
I've added mine to FordPass. It says it's pending activation. I just need someone to turn on the vehicle and acknowledge it so I can see where its at. I wonder if anyone will acknowledge it from the factory as they did for you.I had added the vehicle to my Fordpass, account once I got my VIN back in November. Keep your fingers crossed! I really didn't expect it, but when the 2023s were rolling out, every now and then someone would say theirs was activated. I think that since you have done that, every time someone starts it, they will see an activation request on the screen. They have moved my truck 2-3 times in the last 3-4 days, Just takes a nice guy to respond and hook you up. I'm just hoping mine won't go into deep sleep and stop telling me where it is. Good luck!I've added mine to FordPass. It says it's pending activation. I just need someone to turn on the vehicle and acknowledge it so I can see where its at.
