When did you order and how long was you told for delivery date? How long after you ordered did it take to get an E-mail from Ford about your order?

No I didn't just order, thread was just for comparison in the south east. I have seen time frames all over the scale lolSo you just joined. Man, you have some waiting to do. I ordered in late June, got confirmed the next day, June 30th. I took delivery on February 1st. Hybrid XLT. So, that's seven months. All bets off now.
I ordered June 19, got email confirmation from Ford June 23. Dealer now says all bets are off. He can't get me a truck built. I ordered a fairly well loaded Lariat for under MSRP. I'm sure dealer now realizes that was a mistake and can make several more thousands of dollars if I just go away and then, magically, he will have the truck appear on his lot for sale.No I didn't just order, thread was just for comparison in the south east. What a lovely attitude. Perfectly acceptable within todays norms, yet is a integral part of the crappy situations we have today. If I cant make money off it let a bigger company make more money off someone else. Yay!I ordered June 19, got email confirmation from Ford June 23. Dealer now says all bets are off. I don't really care because I bought a really nice Ridgeline RTL-E. After looking at the Maverick on a couple Ford lots that had them for sale (at well over MSRP), I must say they seemed to me to be very small. I knew they were small when I ordered but I never saw one. When I did see one in person I felt they are just a bit too small. The Honda is a dream. It is the second Ridgeline I've owned so I know all about them, how they ride and perform and their legendary dependability. I know nothing of the Maverick. So, in a way I am glad as I got a much better truck for my needs although I paid $15,000 more for it.
When, if ever, someone calls and says your Maverick has arrived, I will determine the market at the time. If Mavericks are still hard to come by and I can flip it for a few thousand dollars profit that's what I'll do. Otherwise, I'll tell them to shove it and walk away.
