Bought my 2022 1st edition Lariat EB a year ago last Feb. Used with 21k miles. Now have 36k miles. Already had the roll back hard cover, all the exterior dressing/ decals and a full leveling kit. I have to admit I didn't do any research on the different trim packages and learned most from this forum. That said, I'm so glad I purchased this with the Lariat trim package.

Today I ended my year-and-half long relationship with Old Blue, a 2023 Maverick XLT hybrid. My old friend stayed faithful and trustworthy for 49,000 miles without ever a complaint or reproach, delivering a 40.2 mpg average and still on its stock tires! Being older I did coddle it, seldom going faster than 55 in a 2/3's 1/3rd mix of rural and city driving. Despite how good it was to me I was too cheap to feed it premium, going with 87 top tier gas instead. But it still steadfastly bore me through rain, snow, and mud without any difficulty. Yet I found myself drawn to another, 2025 Space White Lariat hybrid, and said goodbye. Only time will tell the extent of my foolishness, but I want everyone to know what a great truck the 2023 was and, I hope, will be for another in a better position to appreciate it.
Traitor ! …. 🤔…. Trader ! 👍😎

I made a little money trading it for my current truck that has 4k towing and no moonroof.

Definitely get it..The only option my used truck didn't have was the 4k towing package which surprised me since it was so cheap for everything added...I think I'd do the same

Oh my... Talk about déjà vu...

Just sold our 2024 Ford Maverick XLT in Velocity Blue named Little Blue today.

Ordered and waiting for our 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat in Space White Metallic.

Heard this story, know this story. Living this story!

And the waiting continues....

Flip side is the dealer is searching for one already built so that we can take advantage of the Ford Employee Discount.

I know little about Top Tier.
I got Shell,
BP, and they are the only ones with Ethanol free, what I like to call Real Gas.
And Marathon.
convenience stores don't tend to be; most old major brands, including ARCO, are.

Ethanol free seems to be regional, though; we can't get it. Then again, maybe it's because we're stuck with California gas.

Yep,us old guys need a splash of luxury wherever we can find it...
And shiny. Don't forget that we need shiny things, too . . .

see other threads, but it appears that ordering actually does count.

the biggest thing to know is that it's not a marketing gimmick, but a standard set by the car manufacturers so that they could up compression.

unfortunately, we have a single pipeline from California to Las Vegas. So early all gas comes up that, California spec, and gets the brand specific additives after drawn from that central tank. So we seem stuck with perpetual ethanol; I know of no brand here that ever sells straight gas.

Racing and aviation gasoline comes by truck, I believe.

And, occasionally, some normal gas gets trucked in. During one of the crises caused by the CA government a few years ago, one small local chain trucked some in for their established customers, and wouldn't sell it to anyone else!

Similar situation here, same spec as CA, but local production. Here you can get ethanol free gas from specific stations, but only for farm equipment/use, and only with a farm registration.

same spec as CA,
yeah, but we don't have the spec; it's just the only fuel we can get our paws on!

Plus in retirement I;m not getting in after changing out hydraulic pumps or valves after a service call.
one of the nice things about being retired is that we can now spend our kids' inheritances on shiny things and luxuries!

The highest trim level I ever owned was my 92 Ranger xlt. That trim in 92 came with rear jump seats, pop open side windows, rear defroster, manual windows, no AC, cruise, tilt wheel, an AM/FM cassette radio, and split front bench seat. Not much luxury. When I went Maverick shopping I told myself an XLT was all I needed, that it was as "nice" as I needed in a vehicle. Then I sat in the Lariat and drove the Lariat with it's Sirius radio, which is a must for me now days, I decided I needed a Lariat. Plus in retirement I;m not getting in after changing out hydraulic pumps or valves after a service call.
My 2025 XLT has Sirius Radio?

The 2024 xlt I test drove didn't. I think you could order it on the 2024s but not sure. I know it was part of the Lariat package.
correct. 22-24 only have siriusxm built-in if they are equipped with b&o which is the lariat lux package.

yes, all 2025s have sirius because it's integrated to sync4. even the XLs have it.
