I got scheduled on 7/20/22 for a build week of 9/19/22. It was built on 9/21/22. Sat in Mexico in a lot until 10/14, finally arrived in Dearborn, MI. Near Detroit on 11/2/22. Almost 3 weeks to go 300 miles north to me. Arrived at my dealer 11/21/22.
It's almost black in the shade. That caused some confusion at my dealer when mine came in. My Alto blue was in the shade next to an Area 51 Hyrbid. They told the girl to prep the "blue maverick" so I can pick it up and she looked at both and decided the Area 51 was the blue one. I got there and my truck was still in the shipping wrap when they walked me out to it. It was awkward when they said "your hybrid Mav is ready". I'm like, uhhh I ordered the Ecoboost, it's right here.
Man if imine was 300 miles away for 3 weeks I'd be like what can I do to just drive down there and get that bad boy? haha
Well jokes on me now, mine has been sitting at the Chicago rail yard about 150 miles away for about a week now and isn't scheduled to get to me for at least next week, seems like the estimate always inches back when I email my dealer. haha, its so close I can almost feel the steering wheel.
Mine got to Minnesota in less than a week. Have been waiting 3 weeks for it to go 200 miles to get to my Northern Wisc dealership, Just found out the new date is February 4th. So over a month to go for a 3 hour drive.
Yeah I was excited for this week then this basically came and went, I remembered back to his post like, well maybe before February lol.
