Honestly if you've ordered at MSRP right now, you'll probably be able to make a profit immediately as is.. but that begs the question, what will you replace it with?

Personally I intend the Maverick to be in our garage for a very long time.

For sure. I could sell my house right now for almost 3x what I bought it for, but then where would I move? If I ever get my Maverick I'm not selling it.

Exactly. I get these we will buy your home for top dollar flyers/junk mail all the time. But that means I got to find another place with a huge amount of storage for all my automotive junque

I think the lack of competition from other manufacturers shows how well Ford nailed it. Kinda like the original Mustang and GTO.
So far, possibly because of the economy, the competition seems reluctant to mount a serious challenge.
Be interesting to see how long Hyundai hangs around with the Santa Cruz.
Will they come back with a new, different updated model or be content to just offer Hyundai fans their own truck?
