ehh, not what I'd call it.

I call losing vehicles that died to prevent injury, like toasted surge protectors, wins.

I'll mourn the lost truck, but focus on the safe people.

Everyone walked away but both vehicles were destroyed. The front of the Maverick completely crushed in as designed. The passenger cabin stayed square enough that all the doors opened and (sort of) closed. All airbags deployed. I am comfortable saying that this accident wouldn't have been a walk-away in an older vehicle. Modern safety technology is amazing!

Sorry, no "gore" photos of the accident. That all took a backseat to the rest of the event. What a way to close out the year!

I guess it is time to order that '25 I was complaining about the price increases on. No one else is offering a competing vehicle.
