Look I am sure it is just an update and a Ford website build and price error, but I was messing around and rebuilt my exact same ordered vehicle on Ford's website today. The big difference was about $3,000. Did Ford suddenly decide to not charge for the AWD upgrade or something? When I switch between AWD and FWD it is a net price difference of only $800 and it is from the FX4 package upgrade. Went from My Aug 14th price of $30,765 down to $27,805 today.
Maybe this will all be fixed tomorrow, and this is really just nothing, but I don't mind a 3k price reduction. LOL Doubt any of us would. Maybe it has something to do with the standard hybrid engine no longer being available for the 2022 model year and this is to encourage customers to still purchase a Maverick just with the still available 2.0 eco-boost engine instead.
Can only guess. Might mean nothing.
