Ok. I didn’t find out about the Maverick until last week. Going in to put in my order 11/1.
I want an Hybrid Lariat with Lux Pkg.

Looks like my chances are somewhere between slim and none.

A friend suggested to me that I try and get a cancellation. Is there a better way than calling dealers in the Southern Ford Dealer Network one by one??

I’m open to all suggestions.

You should still be able to order. Use the build/price page and submit it to your preferred dealer.

It'll be hard to coordinate a cancellation, and you'll likely overpay if that's what you go for.

Your chances of a hybrid from a dealer in stock are slim. Go ahead order if you can get no deposit or refundable deposit. But expect late delivery next year.

I don't know about "late" next year. I'm pretty sure Tim Bartz said that any orders "now" meaning last week should be delivered by May.

I have my appt for Monday. Now I’m reading the spray on bed liner can stall the build. I thought it was part of pkg on Lariat/Lux pkg. should I delete it from the build?

It's my understanding that the spray in bedliner is only an issue if you add it as an a la carte option. As part of a package, it should be fine. But Lariat Lux is a constraint on its own.

Can you wait till May for the truck? if you can, you should be fine.

Hey man don't be worried I was on the fence till I heard the deadline. I got my order in today at 11 am. XLT hybrid in black only added a hitch the spare tire and a moonroof. Dealer said 7 months is what he expects from now.
