Hybrid noises after cold start

I have a 2023 Lariat hybrid that has been relatively trouble free since new. recently started to hear some strange noises after starting on cool mornings (50 degrees here in LA). After driving for ½ mile, I come to a traffic light and the ICE stops (normal). I then start hearing intermittent gurgling noise and can actually feel what would otherwise seem to be engine surge although the ICE isn't actually running. The noise goes away soon after as things get in the normal operating rage. Doesn't seem to be an issue other than the noise so far. I'll have the dealer look at it when I bring it in for the next oil change in a month or so. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've not heard of that when the ICE isn't running.

Both motors shouldn't be turning either - but if feeling a pull the traction motor must be.

Can you test on a back street with no traffic, and not at a stop sign or light?
Come to a stop, let ICE turn off, then let off brake slowly.
When that is seen, the TM is given some torque to allow a creep effect.
Same noise and rough feel to it?

Wondering if you have a brake calibration gone bad - system thinks the pedal has been released enough to start TM torque, when it shouldn't yet.
