I was exploring the Ford.com site (in the vehicle dashboard part) and clicked to see what it said for my maintenance schedule. There is quite a bit of irony in its answer:

I had that experience when I tried to enter a DIY maintenance record that was too long (>250 characters) and/or used reserved characters. Eventually I got thru to a Ford geek who said they would try to get that fixed on the site. I haven't verified yet whether anything has changed. Error reporting is not useful when you only get one generic message for 1,000 different problems. Too much technology on too limited a development budget is a recipe for persistent, annoying problems in the product.
