Searched the forums but can’t find an answer. I’m not familiar with the Maverick TPMS so I’m wondering how they are removed to put in aftermarket wheels. Any one know or has had it done?

TPMS sensors are usually part of the air valve. It now is called a air valve assembly because it has the sensor built as part of it.

The tire store installing the aftermarket rims should already know this since this is now a standard safety feature. They will either use the existing sensors OR sell you ones that fit the rims.

Recommend calling the tire store or place you are having the aftermarket rims installed and ask them if they can use the existing sensors. (Don't volunteer asking them if you have to buy new ones, as they will most certainly say yes.)

Hope this helps.
