In a XLT Luxury, there is a black plastic cover above the rear view mirror and it appears to have a speaker in it. How is it removed? I see what appears to be a pin on the left side... ??
Thanks

That black housing contains the CoPilot 360 camera. Chances are good you'll screw it up poking around in there..In a XLT Luxury, there is a black plastic cover above the rear view mirror and it appears to have a speaker in it. How is it removed? I see what appears to be a pin on the left side... ??

Every Maverick has the CoPilot 360 emergency braking. The optional 360 is the blind spot and rear cross traffic.Ok, thanks all, I'll dive in tomorrow. I have no 360 on this truck. I could swear that it was a speaker mounted there when I had my hand held up to it with Stairway to Heaven blasting, bu t I could be wrong. LOL
I'll give it a shot tomorrow and post pics of my finding for the group. Getting ready to wire my V1.
More to come.. thanks
I think myself and the forum would really like a detailed post or video on removing that panel and install of car cam power. Would be great if you could. ThanksJust pops off. I removed mine to run wires for my front/rear dash cameras. Used a nylon tool that I have for interior panel removal. Piece of cake. Can’t hurt anything as long as you are careful.
