How to check for frozen camera issue

Hello.. I just got my used 22 MY maverick. The dealer told me the camera recall was done. But I read somewhere that didn’t really fix the camera issue.
I have few questions for those of you who are still experiencing camera freezing:
1- can you reproduce the issue on your vehicle? How?
2- does the issue only happen when a phone is connected (android auto, carplay.. BT)
3- Do you have other issues such as low battery issues?
I am worried about this issue and I want to narrow down the cause.

I had the camera update done on my '22 Eco. No camera freezes since.
BUT....
I have had a couple occasions where the head unit itself (main screen infotainment system) has frozen and I had no control. Everything was frozen. Unfortunately, I have not been in a situation where I could try putting it in reverse to see if it would still be frozen.

Most of us here are very familiar with pressing the power and fast forward buttons at the same time and holding them until the screen goes blank and a light "pop" is heard through the speakers.
That process is similar to <CTRL><ALT><DEL> on a computer. It forces a restart of the system.

Restarting the system in this manner does not hurt anything. It just restarts the system and I've done it while driving with no issues. And yes, if the camera freezes, the system reset will unfreeze it.
MAKE SURE YOU DOCUMENT THE FREEZE WITH A SHORT VIDEO ON YOUR PHONE AFTER YOU PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD

1.) I don't think anyone has a procedure to reproduce the camera freeze.
2.) My phone is always connected. Don't know about freezing without it connected. Maybe someone else does?
3.) Never had a low battery condition.....yet.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you have issues like the freezing I seem to have every couple weeks, post!
