How long to get my Maverick?

These days it is hard to guess. When I had an early Sept 23 build date I was surprised it came in at the dealer about 1 month later. But then I didn't have to deal with software going wonky and trains not delivering and trucker strikes either. So many things can go awry nowadays you are best setting your sights on a two-month time frame. That is where I think we are now.

I went through the entire stressful process including a cancelation and rollover with the first Maverick which I totaled. I ordered another one and then bought the only one off the lot I could find. Didn't care much what it is as the dealer will give me MSRP for it when I trade it in. It's a totally loaded turbo Lariat so I'm not missing much.

I bought one that was supposedly finished. Was supposed to have been delivered to the dealership on 14 Jan. Now I'm told it had to go back to the factory for some tweaks. Won't be delivered until the first week of February now. Here's hoping ...
