How is roll over order (to 2023) linked to the special offer?

I have been reading the threads about members ordering new 2023 Mavericks. Most had 2022 unscheduled.

What I can't seem to find is a definitve answer how the roll over order is linked to the special offer.

Maybe its there I just can't find it.

I know roll over is incorrect but just trying to make my question clear.

The way I understand it, as long as your dealer doesn't cancel your MY22 order the private offer is tied to the name and address on that order - when you place a MY23 order with the same name and address, the FORD system sees that you had a MY22 order and issues the private offer against that new MY23 order.

Computers are certainly smart enough to do that. I would be concerned about those writing the code.

on my '23 rollover, the sales code and order code were identical to the '22. Ford has those numbers as well since that is how Ford Chat can look up your order status.
