How do I activate the search function on the screen?

My navigation search is not working. Can you please tell me how much does it cost to have the “activate search” service done at a Ford dealer? Is this an expensive feature? I just thought that when buying a 50,000 car, this feature would be there. But it turns out that such a special option has to be ordered separately. How long did you wait to activate the search feature in your Maverick?

That is Android Auto which has nothing to do with Ford. If I'm not mistaken when the vehicle is not in park only the microphone option is available for searching. I believe this is a safety feature.

Oh yeah sure, android and ford are 2 incompatible things, I found that out right after I bought it. Ford won't connect adroid because it has nothing to do with it. Uh-huh.

I plug my Android phone in and use WAZE for directions. You can hit the mike symbol and it will bring up the map with directions
