Not sure if we have a cross over here, but I was able to get my truck into Home assistant, I am looking at what I can do with it but I am very pleased I got this working.

Excellent! I am doing this too, with the same integration repo! Didn't even think to mention it here as it seems so "normal" to me to do this with a modern car.

Have you found any particular useful things to do with it yet?

Definitely have to look into running this on something I've got kicking around at home and isn't being useful currently

I have Alexa access. I can pull in my driveway and turn on inside lights from my front seat.
