Just got my Maverick!!!!

Well all, I was on the hunt for a XL AWD 2.0. Placed orders in 3 different dealerships in 3 different states. Magically I found a dealer 2 hrs away from my home. They had a HPR XLT 2.0 AWD on the lot and I couldn't believe it wasn't in the process of purchase. So I called and emailed and even took a half day off from work to drive down and trade in my 21' Subaru WRX for it. I didn't want a XLT but since its coming with the sliding rear window, 4k tow package, machined wheels, 3.81 axle, drop in liner I figured why not. Most of those things I'm going to add later. Drove home for about 100 miles with a sh*t eating grin because I didn't have to wait months. Im in love with Little Red.........
That Prince song Little Red Corvette came on the radio as I was pulling out the dealership driveway it was hilarious but now its stuck.
Still trying to figure out how to attach photos without them being sideways lol.

Its funny, I just noticed in the dark that it came with the keypad on the door, gotta figure that thing out now. It was snowing and I breezed through the inspection at the dealership. Looking for dings or dents and totally bypassed that.

Your instructions should be with the dealer packet. It's pretty straight forward. I never use it because I have to use the key to start the truck.

True I realized that. Even if it was keyless entry there’s no need for it.

My 2015 Prius was cool. You could keep your key in your pocket. Touch the handle, all four doors unlock. Then put your foot on the brake and push the "start" button. Having to remove my key from my pocket and inset it into the steering column and turn the key like old school cars makes no sense. But I'm cool with it.

When we go shopping my wife will often get tired and go sit in the car. With the keypad, she doesn't have to carry her set of keys (she rarely drives!). To each his own but I ordered the keypad entry, Still waiting on my AWD, 2.0 with tow package. 16+ months now!

Congratulations, we picked up our 24 lx hot pepper red hybrid on december 15. We traded our 21 subaru accent it got really bad gas mileage. Super happy with our mavericks.
