Hitchmate Truckstep

I saw a couple posts about the Hitchmate Truckstep, so decided to get one. Here are some pictures with measurements in case it's helpful. Spare is the mini, so the larger spare will have different clearance.
I like that it's compact when folded, yet extends out beyond the lowered tailgate.

Looks nice , but what is the spare tire picture showing? Also I my neck of the woods you would want to have a locking hitch pin. Unfortunately some people are scum.

It retracts under the spare tire, so wanted to show the clearance. With the larger spare the clearance might be an issue. The hitch pin is bored for a lock which I use, just didn't take a picture from that side.

Nice. That other plastic one is gaudy looking and doesn't retract or flip up.
