Use your browser and go right to Amazon and type in the model number. I have run into this problem before and never figured out why I can't get some links on my phone.

Did a test. Left FOB in truck and tried to lock the truck and it can't be done. So much for Intelligent Access. Makes more sense not to allow the driver to lock the FOB in car by mistake via purse or some other means.
I did the same test yesterday with the exact opposite results. Left my lariat fob in the truck, and successfully locked it with the keypad

Nice to know, I only used the door handle. Try locking with door handle.
Obviously that won't work as the door handle lock/unlock only functions when you have the fob on your person. You can lock via the keypad regardless of where the fob is just by simultaneously pressing the two bottom buttons. Super simple

Given that apparently the lariat fob disables itself and won't start the engine when you lock it in the truck, if I really had to leave the key behind, personally I'd prefer to stash it under the rear bench seat or something rather than in a hitch lockbox. But to each their own

You are both right. Never used the keypad before since the handle is readily available. Did not know you need to touch both bottom buttons on keypad to lock. My stupid mistake but I don't ever plan on locking my FOB in the truck.
