EGR bolt hood deflector ( carbon fiber wrap style )

Hello MTC members, i Just want to share with you my new exterior mods for my maverick XLT hybrid. The EGR hood deflector brand / bolt on ( got from amazon ) that i wrap it with carbon fiber ( two separate sides to get V shape ) some will not like the look and some may think twice first . I will post before and after looks. Since me and my dad has the same model and color, that I installed for him too but without carbon fiber wrap.

Any one interested, here is the link. Its easy to install with two people is better but it can be done with one person too. Please read instruction carefully to understand to get all the clap/screws work well for your installation.

( that has carbon fiber wrap on the sides body )

I am not a fan of carbon fiber, but I think I like this better than the shiny.
I have the same shiny one to put on my truck when it arrives next month.
Funny, I actually have 2 since I got stupid when ordering and they want almost what it is worth to ship it back.

I saw at amazon EGR brand they have matte color now too. Here is the link, is $20 more from shiny version

I saw that when I was shopping. I chose window deflectors I liked the most. They are shiny, so I got the hood deflector to match. I was trying to find some matte window delfectors, but didnt like the ones that were matte.
Thought it would look funny if one was shiny and the other matte.
But thanks for the info, and I am sure someone else will end up seeing it!

Could you post pictures of the underside of the hood/protector? I’m curious about the attachment method and how much things contact the exterior paint, if at all.
