Had the halfshafts replaced on my Maverick under the CSP 25N09D. If I'm reading the invoice right, the part numbers are SZ6Z*3B437*C and 6*E. Back to the smooth acceleration. For now, all is good.

I'll dig around a bit, but does anybody know if these are the "beefed up" ones that should last longer than the original OEM parts?

I've had my 2022 XL hybrid less than a month. 113k miles at purchase. Former fleet truck I've noticed the vibration as well during heavy acceleration. The harder the acceleration the worse the vibration. Persists after new rim and tires (replaced the steelies). Its not speed related: If I do gentle acceleration up to a high top speed its not a problem.

I've had the vehicle up to 100 mph quickly and slowly. It handles great but the drivetrain vibration gave me pause. CV joint sounds like a good explanation.

Just for future reference/planning since I tend to keep my vehicles a decade or more, what's the cost of having the halfshafts replaced if they aren't covered by the CSP or a warranty?

IIRC each axle is at least $350. Then labour costs if you have someone do it for you, the price of that varies way to much based on location to give a firm price.
