Headlight flicker when engine cuts on/off?

2025 Hybrid AWD XL.
I've seen this out of the corner of my eye a couple times now, but this is the first time I caught it on the new dashcam. When the engine cuts off the headlights seem to flicker, and from the video I can see it's just the driver side headlight.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or could it be an issue with just my Maverick?

You are not getting replies because you did not state if this is in a Hybrid or EcoBoost. And your profile is incomplete.

This is unlikely to ever happen in a Hybrid but is more likely to happen in an EcoBoost. Not that it should.

So IMHO that makes this extra strange.
The voltage to the lights is usually unaffected by what the engine is doing.
There is no belt driven alternator.

Therefore you have a loose wire or bad bulb or some computer glitch and I'm glad I'm not you in this scenario.

EcoBoosts could have small voltage changes when their engines start/stop.

Some more troubleshooting info to have available - just in case it helps them.
Since you seem to have the info on sitting and it occurs. (it appears non-moving).

Have you noticed if it occurs while driving and the ICE turns off?

Noticed rain - this is the full headlights enabled, not DRL?

What happens if you enabled DRL if not already, and same non-moving and ICE stops?

Thanks @HeyBales I'll work on locking down the parameters that the flickering occurs with. Though it's so fast it is difficult to see from inside the cab.

Thanks for the advice. I understand that some lights won't sync up with the frame rate on video, but this is different. The light flickers fully and obviously enough to be visible by eye.
