I'd like to be able to fit a Polaris RZR trail into the bed. Dry weight is 1,238lbs, and width is 50". So, it should handle the weight with fuel and gear and the width with the front tires over the wheel wells.

Issue is that the RZR has a wheel base of 79" and total length of 111" which I think would leave the rear tires hanging over the tailgate (in the down position).

Anyone have ideas on working around the shorter bed or how to make it work? Perhaps using something like mad-ramps but I worry that would be shifting weight too far back.

I have a RZR570....I think you will be very hard pressed to do it with such a small bed...I plan on just buying a 6x10 utility trailer....Id be curious though even if one were able to get it in bed with some type of extension how it would handle going down the road...

Also dont forget cargo capacity weight of 11-1200lbs includes people/gear in cab of truck...not just bed weight...so I think if one were to get a RZR in the bed it would be overloading the cargo capacity of truck....

I don't think I've ever seen a SxS in the back of any pickup truck. They are always on trailers. You'll be needing one...
A standard 4 wheeler may fit, but the SxS are usually too wide and long.

EDIT: Well, I guess some people do it with larger beds. Here is one in a 6.5' F-150 bed, but it barely fits and looks a bit sketchy if you ask me...
