Harrold Ford in Sacramento — MSRP?

Have you bought a Maverick from Harrold Ford at MSRP? I read a Google review from yesterday where a Bronco buyer was faced with a $15K markup. It seems like things got ugly and he was kicked out of the store. Mine will be delivered there in a week or two, so I’m a bit discouraged about the prospect of getting the truck. After patiently waiting for eight months.

BTW, if you check Google reviews, sorted by recent, you’ll find a new review by that same guy, now slightly positive. So somehow, he got his deal. I notified a big shot at Ford within hours of his original review, so it’s possible that the dealer got a call.

Can‘t find a way to contact review guy. It might be instructive to speak with him.

I’ve got my Maverick XLT ordered at Folsom Lake Ford. I’ve read good reviews, so I have my fingers crossed. No build date yet but I was one of the last to order the hybrid in mid November.

Long story short, I posted a bad review on Google and yelp and shared my story on here after they told me they could not commit to msrp when my truck comes in. Somehow word got to corporate and they called me saying they would not work with me unless I took the review down. If you care to go though 22 pages of comments, search on this site for "dealership not committing to msrp".

Anyways I told them I'd extend an olive branch and remove the reviews but warned I'd use every tool available to me if I did not get a favorable outcome.

No, it was more of a warning shot to the dealer. I think I might have emailed ford investor relations too since I own ford stock, but they were no help. I know ford monitors this forum too so maybe they took notice of the 22 page discussion . Lol.
