I've always liked contrasting colors. I added Red Ford logo's front and back. Tuffskinz Red letters on the tailgate and a red pinstripe on the lower front grill. My picture does not do it justice, looks way better in real life. Trying to decide if I want some red on the sides. Off hand I don't see a place that would look right.

You could add a red strip under the XLT on the side vents. Or continue the front strip along the rocker panels.

Add red fender flares and paint the bumpers red - then you will have the contrast on a sporty Maverick.

You could add a rear fender decal as shown in my avatar to the left. I purchased it on Etsy. The slash marks are available in multiple colors including red. I am trying to add blue to my Carbonized Grey Mettallic. I have blue decals to apply to the lower doors from Etsy, and eventually I will add some blue to the top of my hood.
