Similar story here - had a 2023 Explorer Timberline and short of driving it off a cliff, could never get it past 22-23 MPG's, usually sat around 18-20 MPG in my commute cycle....traded for same exact Maverick...loving the 40+ MPG. Didn't really hate the Explorer..but it was a service nightmare right out of the gate too which just pissed me off.
