Hi,
I'm Brazilian and bought a Maverick Lariat 2024 FX4 2.0 Ecoboost last November. This week, after 2800miles, I left a car with a valet and when I return and left shopping, I noticed that the gear is locked... not change any gear... all time in first gear. I try select other conduction modes, put car in the rear gear, neutral gear (all selectable), but when put it on Drive, continue same problem. The car was towed to the services (dealership) and they identified that appears a problem with and internal shift solenoide and is trying to solve the problem.
My questions :
- does anyone already had similar situation ??
- do anyone knows if there is a possibility to move the shift knob from D to R or from R to D while the car is moving (I think this may have been the cause of this problem, even though the valet said he didn't do it)?
I'm very concerned and waiting Ford position.
Best regards, from Brazil.
