Gary DeMasi's 1985 Ranger

I wonder how he managed to convert his 1985 Ranger GT50 into a Supercab from a single cab, and I also wonder how he shortened the bed of the Ranger. How did he manage to do these two things?

Well one thing for sure is he has some of the best 80s wheels out there. As for his body mods. Looks like a regular cab chassis with a extended cab shell dropped on it. After that he cut difference out of the bed. Looks like Infront of and behind the rear wheels. It's just a cut and weld procedure. Mounting the ext cab in the reg cab frame may have minor body mount issues but if he installed any sort of cage in there fabricating body mounts would be easily done at the same time. Looks like a fun truck. The TTB suspensions were a little complex but they sure could handle. I always thought it would be cool to build a Quad traction beam buggy with Dana 44 TTBs front and rear.
