All, I have decided to walk away from my Maverick order due to a change in employment. It's unfortunate that I am walking away after waiting so many months, but in my new position I decided I need more MPG than what the EcoBoost provides. If anyone is interested, the vehicle is on order at Coggin Ford DeLand. It is an Alto Blue XLT w/ Luxury package, FX4 and 4K Towing. It has not been delivered yet but is expected between 12/14-12/20, provided they don't push back the delivery again... So long!

Will they let someone else grab it though? What was the pricing.

I haven't officially canceled with them yet, I will be doing so shortly. I imagine they will sell it to anyone once it arrives.

I'll let you guys know when it arrives. I'm still watching out for it so I can sit in it.

did not want to start another Pricing thread - I have an update of a local Florida Tampa area dealer being RIDICULOUS with pricing. I won't disclose the dealership, as I have a 1st Edition that I am awaiting... and do not want to jeopardize them honoring my price, to which I now have an email stating the quoted price will be maintained. (M$RP of 40k delivered and fees)

Yesterday I became a bit impatient and went to their site and found a Cyber Orange XLT AWD priced at $29 k, reflecting the MSRP. It is in bound for arrival 12/23 - 12/29 . Today I checked in to see if I could put my order in and secure it. Added fees: Lifetime window tinted $399 + Dealership Advantage $2,695.00 + Market adjustment $5,000 + PTA $184 & Doc Fee $995.... The price is now $41,671.85... I responded and stated:

"Damn... that is crazy - you had this on your site at the MSRP yesterday and now it has additional markups that are more expensive than the 1st Edition... fully loaded.

While I understand economics "price at what the market will bear"... not accusing you, but this is bait and switch. Will your org honor what was posted on the site at $29k?" - The response just received:

"It is only showing MSRP because it has not arrived yet and is not in stock. Once it arrives it will show the market adjustment and they have a disclaimer on the site that price excludes dealer installed items like the Port Richey Advantage and window tint. I totally understand if you don’t want to do it but my hands are tied when it comes to the retail stock units and they know someone will pay it. Quite frankly we get offers from inventory locator services to buy these for $4000 over MSRP and they are just placing them with other dealers. It is just a crazy time right now‼"

IMO this is out of hand... Now I get to read all of the responses from whomever cares...
