Beautiful spot. I've been up in them hills. I'm sure she will be happy exploring up there. There are plenty of places up there humans have never touched. Beautiful story. My mom was an explorer. She would have approved of that beautiful spot.

The AT runs along the same ridge.
If you've been up in that area, I gotta ask, we're you running spring Water from WV to VA to avoid the revenues?

There's beauty in everything about this . . . the respect given to your mom, where you chose her final resting place, and let's not forget the Maverick and how she got you both to your destination. Thanks for sharing such a private moment.

My mom was always into the trucks I had, when she drove, before the Maverick, she used to beg me to drive my trucks. She said it was fun because no one expected an older woman to be in a custom truck. The modifications I did after her passing was because she wanted them done, hood center blacked out, roof blacked out and the rear applique added.
If I would have made the venture via 4 wheeler or side-by-sides she would haunt me. So only choice was to take her on one last ride in the Maverick.
I am 53 years old, she was 86 when she passed, yeah I am still a momma's boy and proud of it, I think all men are and don't admit it until it is too late. I miss her a ton, but know she is watching over me. Just happy to complete my last promise to her.

I can not remember right off the too of my head. I will try and remember when I get up in the morning to look. It is the same size as others are running for Ko2's on 17s.

Similar situation. In her retirement years, she traveled thru out Europe and the US.
