Finally put the Mav to the test and hungout with the big boys for some overnight camping... of course with some awesome offroading!

It really was a fun trip! Had a blast. Short but sweet.

I'm definitely going to add a better suspension set up, tint the front windows and reorganize my drawer system.

I'd like to come back and visit SD on my birthday month. Already have plans to camp in Tijuana River, CA.

It literally is a Mini Overland Expo! These are some real cool peeps all based from Vegas.

What is your current suspension setup, and what shortcomings did you discover that you'd like to address?

Also, how was the Maverick received by the rest of the group? Welcoming, or did you have some "it's not a real truck" bias? How did it hold up vs. the big boys?

I don't think this place is ugly at all. Despite the we've collected during dirt time but it was a lot of fun though.

It sure was a lot of fun! This is the first time I visited this location. It's in Mojave National Preserve, Hole in the Wall Campstie. It's about 1:45 travel time from Vegas. Right passed the Stateline.
