Front door style

I really like the look of the F150 Lariat front door "cutout" under the mirror. Owners tell me it improves sight lines and it looks great! Why won't my future Maverick (2023?) Lariat have this style?

Because it’s a Maverick not an F-150?

If you look at the Maverick closely, I believe they paid homage to the F150 by subtly adding that same dropped-window style line in the sheet metal. I think we'd all be guessing why they didn't do glass, but I'm guessing it was a packaging or cost issue?

Your right Scott, there is an indentation. But I'm hoping my question leads to a change by the time I get delivery, sometime next century.

The F150 door is designed that way to fit a larger mirror and not impede your vision over the top of it. It’s not just styling. The Maverick being a smaller, shorter height truck doesn’t really need it.

I dought Ford will make any body changes before they redesign the whole truck in about 3 or 4 years.
