From 'Awaiting Shipment' back to 'In Production'....

I have a Hybrid XLT Lux that is/was being built for production week of 5/23. I received an email from Ford saying my truck was built and to expect to take delivery 7/8-7/15, and the tracker updated to show "Awaiting Shipment". Starting yesterday, however, the Ford Track now shows my status as back to 'In Production'.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any thoughts on why it go put back into production?
My first thought is they remedied the flaw in the hybrid battery harness and are now pushing the fix on newly built vehicles at the plant.

Same thing. I got the "built email" and the tracker had a date of 5/26 build completion. While that date is still there, the circle is no longer partially filled and the status sentence at the top says "in production" now. no ideal what the hell that means.

Was at dealer Saturday, his tracker said "awaiting transport."

Misery does love company! Glad to at least see that I am not the only one this happened to. Hopefully your dealer (and mine) have "the in" and our trucks are indeed awaiting shipment.

Yep, right there with ya. I just assumed it was going in for the spray-in bed liner, but who knows.

That's assuming your dealer responds to emails and returns phone calls, mine does not, I would just drop by but its way on the other side of town from me and I couldn't get there and back on my lunch break. Because of their lack of communication and getting an answer out of them is nearly impossible this has been an unnecessarily frustrating situation for me. I will never do business with this dealer again, that's for sure.

That sounds terrible. I would go on their website and act like you want to buy a car on their site. I bet they get back to you quick.
