Has anyone tried both? I’ve had the ODBLink EX for a while and haven’t used ForScan (bought everything to do the cruise control on an XL mod). Well I had the dreaded battery dead because it’s not an AGM issue on my XL. If they can’t get me in under the recall tomorrow, I’m going to buy a battery and put it in myself. And I’ll be going in via ForScan (which I haven’t downloaded yet because I was waiting on the extended warranty to run out) and making sure the charging is setup properly. I saw the Bluetooth MX+ with iOS lite version of ForScan and was curious if it has the same ability to mod like the wired version does? I’m more comfortable with apple at this point and like my iPhone so if that works as well, I’m gonna order the Bluetooth version of the ODB tool and use it instead.

So have any of you used the iOS lite version and does it have the same functionality as the wired windows version?

Have used both.
Windows Forscan only can make config & program changes.
Comparison of FORScan applications
I use the wired when doing config, MX+ for monitoring.
Sounds like some have used the MX+ for config & programming, but I'd rather not.
