FordPass Turn Vehicle On/Off Feature

Got my Maverick last week and I love it. I tried looking over old threads to find this and couldn't. I apologize if it's been brought up already. Anyway, when I use my Ford Pass app to start the car, do I have to use the Ford Pass app to turn it off also? When I turn the car off with my key, the app still shows the truck is on. I can't hear if it's really on or off (another awesome thing about the truck lol) but don't want to keep it running if I don't have to.

No. There is a slight delay in the telematics. I'm sure if you turn off the truck with the key or start button, it's really off. Then if you look 2-3 min later and make sure to 'pull down' in the Fordpass app to refresh, it will correctly show that it's off.
