What does having a Ford Pass Visa have to do with Ford Pass?

Can someone explain what being a member(?) of Ford Pass involves? Is there a benefit. I read something about the remote start function being part of Ford Pass but am clueless, more or less.

Two separate things.

As I understand it, Fordpass is an app on your phone that you can use to remotely start your Mav, among other things. It's free and available on all trim levels.

The Ford issued CC will give back points when used for ford service, tires and things like that. You can then use the points to purchase different accessories for the Mav, floor mats for example.

Can I use a Fordpass Rewards Visa for my down payment to collect the reward points and then just pay it off?
The nice lady I was chatting with on the Ford site did not know.

Yesterday I tried calling and searching internet on how to apply for the Ford Visa and could never find the info! I do t understand why I can’t get any i fo about this.

I called the rep from Fordpass Reward Visa. She advised me to APPLY for the credit card AT TIME of sale of your truck. That way you can use your card right away and don't have to wait for a few weeks to receive your card. Hopefully, your dealership accepts credit cards for a downpayment.

Once you get past FordPass, they do have distinct names.. FordPass is just Ford's way of branding their services.

I'm just hoping the Rewards are linked between the two. I don't want some odd hundred in rewards points on one and some odd hundred points on another. So long as the points are linked, I will take advantage of the Visa.
